Photorgy is a photo-sharing site

Photorgy is a photo-sharing site that launched its public beta earlier this year. The premise of the site is to enable anyone to share photos using nothing more than your AOL Instant Messenger.

Send photos to photorgy, and they’ll be displayed on your profile. Images go to a general folder, where you can organize them into albums later on. This organization feature uses drag-n-drop functionality, and works for your user photo and your Favorites section that shows along the right side of your profile. Photorgy uses an AIM bot to upload your images, and this can be extended to a larger group of friends looking to contribute to one photo album. You can upload an entire folder as well.

New Website Will Help Entreprenuers Realise Their Business Idea

Young British entrepreneurs are launching a new website to house spare business ideas that can be developed by anyone that finds them interesting. James Murray Wells, the twenty four-year-old multi-millionaire founder of www.glassesdirect.co.uk, and Oli Barrett, founder of new ideas company Connected Capital, are behind the venture. It will be launched this week and is called IdeaVolcano.com

More than 100 entrepreneurs and business advisers have already signed up to the site during its testing phase. Mr Murray Wells said all the entrepreneurs he encountered had more ideas than they could handle and the site would allow them to realise their potential. "There’s a lot of people with good ideas and lots of people that are looking for good ideas," he said. "That’s what we are hoping to do with Idea Volcano, putting these people together."

"In my experience, entrepreneurs have a lot of great ideas but they get retained internally," he added.

Mr Murray Wells said the non-profit making site would work as an internet blog. Entrepreneurs would post ideas and anyone reading the site would able to make a contribution to its development.

Mr Murray Wells and Mr Barrett are working with John Hornbaker, a computer software specialist, on the project. "Oli and I sat down and I said I’ve got all these ideas but I’ve got to focus on GlassesDirect at the moment. I have these ideas for a property business and for an online gambling business but don’t have the time to work them up.

"So we came up with the idea of a blog where people can send in their ideas, which will be put on the site and get worked up by people from around the world."

Mr Murray Wells said the ownership of the idea would be down to the people taking part in its development.

In large part, it will work on "trust", he said. "In our experience no one has got an idea off the ground without telling people about it ," he said.

It's a place for people like us to share information (stories, tips, anecdotes, facts and photos), and it's a place to keep track of our own cars, while letting other people know about them too.
