Drobo

With a name like Drobo, you can't expect this robot to spit fire or scare little kids. Instead this $699 bot guards your hard drives from sudden death by automatically sensing when things go awry with one of your HDDs. Should it detect any data corruption, Drobo springs into action repairing any foul play. The enclosure can also detect and format up to four 3.5-inch SATA drives. Pretty fancy for a HDD enclosure.
