xalead is an alternative search engine with lot of new features which is not in any other search engines. First thing is the ability to customize shortcuts; you’ll be able to access your favorite sites from within Exalead; if you have an account, your preferences will be accessible from any computer. Other features include phonetic search, if you don’t know how to spell a word, type it out phonetically and Exalead will find results that sound like what you typed. Search for topics in a specific language or date. Search by prefix or specific sites. With Exalead you can search over four million videos and images. Narrow your image search by specifying size, width, height and you can even search for faces only. All Exalead results show a thumbnail preview. A side panel lets you narrow your search further by related terms, site type, media, language and file type. Advanced search functionality lets you filter searches by date, country and terms. Exalead can also be used to search your desktop. There are widgets for your blog, for Mac and PC. Overall, Exalead packs a decent punch.
