Ikordo is a meeting planning service

Ikordo is a meeting planning service that does all the heavy lifting for you.

Enter in the contact information of people you’d like to invite to your meeting, indicate which attendees are required to come, set the schedule parameters, and let ikordo go to work. The service will contact your attendee list via email to inform them of the meeting you’ve set up, and attendees can simply reply to the email in order to negotiate the perfect time slot that fits everyone’s schedule. Ikordo will keep negotiating with the contacts on your attendee list until a meeting time is agreed upon. The meeting organizer will get one of these emails as well, which may seem redundant at first, but is the best way for the organizer to stay abreast of how negotiations are progressing. Once the meeting time nears, ikordo will send out email and SMS reminders (if you’ve entered the mobile phone number of the attendees).

While the hands-off approach is great for meetings that need to be scheduled for a group of people, I wouldn’t recommend using this service to schedule a same-day meeting. The response time is a bit slow for negotiating meeting times. I’ve tried to trick the system by entering an incorrect date as an email reply to see how ikordo negotiations would handle this mistake, but have yet to get my response. Alternatively, attendees that also have an ikordo account will have an easier time scheduling with the organizer for meetings. Otherwise, this is a very handy service that can branch out in several directions, from iCal integration to address book management and task list delegation.
