Knowble.net is a site that attempts to facilitate communication between academics in the online world

Knowble.net is a site that attempts to facilitate communication between academics in the online world. Only schools and organizations with approved email addresses are able to register, and right now the site has about 100 approved organizations. If you want to add your university or organization, just submit it for approval for affiliation. The site aims to be a forum for discussion about postgrad research, theses, and events. On the site you can share files easily, message other members, chat in forums, and more.
Knowble is the knowledge community for researchers to connect, communicate and collaborate. Our goal is to connect researchers by their passions for efficient collaboration and open, multidisciplinary research. We help you do what you do best, great research! Knowble was created with the support of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s TraCS Institute.
The site makes communication within and between academic disciplines and institutions much easier. Their useful site tools allow for the efficient transfer of pre-published information and files for research groups.
