RealSelf is a new product review site with a niche for anti-aging

What company is offering:
RealSelf is a new product review site with a niche for anti-aging.

How it works:
The two main components of the site are reviews, and the Q&A section. Both are easily accessible from the homepage and nearly every other page throughout the site. This makes for very easy site navigation and a continuous swarm of information on RealSelf. This is a review site and a community, so reviews are made by users, as are the Q&A sections. Any comment or response can be voted on for helpfulness, and these will be ordered accordingly on the site, so whether you’re reading a page of answers to a question, or reviews for a product, the most helpful will show on top.

Why is It different:
One unique factor for RealSelf is its algorithm, which will hunt and kill smam reviews. And to put the icing on the cake (sort of) those spam reviews that are created by companies hoping to inflate the recognition of their products will be publically outed, often resulting in the company to acknowledge their wrong doing.

Individual profiles are also used as self-promotional purposes, as well as mini-hubs for information. A user can enter information about themselves, which could be particularly helpful for healthcare professionals, etc. A map enables them to mark their office and provide contact information. Profile pages will also display the RealSelf content that’s proved most valuable to them, as well as the content they’ve created or interacted with throughout the community.
