ReelProerties.tv is a website that is geared toward real estate agents and promotes properties with videos

What Company is Offering:

ReelProerties.tv is an interesting website that is geared toward real estate agents and promotes properties with videos.

How It Works:

There are so many useful tools for sharing information about a property, including the ability to embed videos in other websites, and email them out to friends. You can also leave comments on a particular property, as well as questions. This is useful for the person selling or leasing the property, because now they have a centralized location in which to address everyone’s questions. It’s also good for users, because they can now benefit from the answers to questions that have already been asked.

The information included for each listing is what you’d expect, and can easily be accessed via tabs for amenities, desription, etc. Filtering options for search are helpful, and the browsing tool lets you set a good amount of parameters for finding a property. This seems to be limited at the moment–no matter what parameters I set for a search, I was always given New York properties. Perhaps ReelProperties hasn’t moved beyond it’s current city just yet.

ReelProperties is giving away 500 free property videos for New York City. There’s a catch: you’ll have to vote for ReelProperties on idealblob in order to get the free video. It’s a win-win situation (if not somewhat unethical) for ReelProperties, because the more votes it receives, the more likely it will be to win the business plan competition, so with the exchange of votes for free stuff on the site, it’s essentially bribing its way to the top.

How They Could Improve:

If the existing features on ReelProperties would be more options on the embedded video, which could allow for direct contact of the owner, or the ability to see other, related videos. The idea of displaying related videos throughout the ReelProperties website would be helpful as well.

One good thing about ReelProperties’ business plans for its site is the advertising displays, which will be location-based and more relevant to site visitors based on the properties they’re searching.
