Don Springer, President and CEO
Mr. Springer is a successful entrepreneur who founded two previous companies and returned more than 500% to his investors. Prior to Collective Intellect, he was General Manager of the Business Process Optimization Group at webMethods. During his tenure, he led more than 40% revenue growth in consecutive quarters, reaching an annualized run-rate of $30M for his business group. Mr. Springer co-founded Dante Software, a venture capital-backed company acquired by webMethods (WEBM) in the fall of 2003. Prior to Dante Software, he was a co-founder of iauthentic, a natural products e-commerce portal acquired by Whole Foods Markets in 1999. Mr. Springer has worked for Silicon Graphics, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Augat Inc., an electronics component manufacturer now part of Tyco. He has an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, and a B.S. in Systems Engineering at the University of Virginia.
