subAvatar is the Avatar Service for lazy Blog Commenters.
subAvatar assigns every user (email) a unique system generated avatar, and records all comments by the user (via HTTP referers).
Since the user doesn't have to register or even know about subAvatar, it's perfect for the lazy commenter.
How It Works:
To create a profile, just start commenting on the Homepage or any other subAvatar enabled blog.
Click the "Claim Profile" link and enter your Email ID.
You will receive an email with instructions to claim the profile.
You can then add your name, blog and a custom avatar to your profile.
Click on the report link on the preview window to report any blog.
When a certain number of people report a blog, it is banned.
There are plugins for various blog software.
In case your blog software has not been listed, you can still implement subAvatar by following instructions.
