UpSpring, pioneer of the new peace-of-mind parenting products genre, secured $2 million in series B funding

What Company Is Offering:
UpSpring, is a premiere parenting and child consumer brand that consists of popular labels such as Walking Wings and Milkscreen. Founded by momprenuers, the company is dedicated to offering parents and children the most innovative and trustworthy health, wellness and safety products available in the baby care industry. The founders are inspired by how many unmet needs still exist in the childcare industry and how many great ideas other parents have to offer. UpSpring, has worked with designers, medical experts and testing laboratories, to ensure fresh and more natural product alternatives that are safer and supportive for every facet of babies’ early childhood.

How Much They Got From VCs:
UpSpring, pioneer of the new peace-of-mind parenting products genre, secured $2 million in series B funding from current and new venture capital investors. Walter Foss and Sherman Wyman led the round in a pool of high-net-worth individuals. Prior to series B, UpSpring had received $600,000 in equity financing.

Recent Updates:
UpSpring launches the latest advancement in parenting products – Night Knight, a motion sensing pod for sleeping infants. This high-tech, lightweight peace-of-mind monitor clips to an infant’s onesie to detect motion for a safer night sleep. Sounding an alarm when no movement occurs for over 23 seconds, Night Knight’s ambient, gently pulsing glow lets parents know that even the slightest breathing motions are being detected. Sleepless nights will be a thing of the past with Night Knight, which promotes safer, doctor-recommended “on-back” sleeping, and unlike similar devices is easily portable, sets up in less than five minutes, and is affordable.
