Yoink’d is a new media search and viewing tool

What Company is About:
Yoink’d is a new media search and viewing tool that gives you a lot of functionality in a tiny package. There are a few things you can do with Yoink’d. You can use it as a media player, use it to find new videos on your own or through the Yoink’d community, and you can share it with the world using the Yoink’d widget.
How It Works:
Go to the Yonk’d homepage and you’ll see the mediabox player, front and center. Play around with it if you’d like, and create an account if you’d like to fully interact with it and save your changes. You can perform a web search for video directly from the mediabox, view them, and choose which clips you’d like to add to your playlist. Create a new playlist or use one of the defaults that Yonk’d has provided for you. You can also see what you’re Yoink’d friends are up to and grab their lists as well.

This mediabox can act as a stand alone player, so you can have it on and active as you surf the net. There are no downloads required, which is good if you use community computers, or just don’t feel the need to add another desktop application. Clips and playlists can be embed from the player, as it provides the embed code for mini players to be placed on your website or social networking profile. That means that if you’re doing a blog post and don’t feel like trecking to YouTube in order to find that video of OK Go on the treadmills, you can do a search with your Yoink’d mediabox player and get the embed code from there. This works for individual videos as well as entire playlists.
