Orchestr8 specializes in the creation of data mashup and "structured web" solutions launched a new clipping tool

What Company Is Offering:
Orchestr8, LLC specializes in the creation of data mashup and "structured web" solutions.

Their AlchemyPoint mashup platform understands "structured" data residing within web pages and uses this information to expose a whole world of related online content. It provides advanced content manipulation and "mashup" capabilities that enable websites to be manipulated as easily as children's clay. Pages can be visually remixed, content reformatted, etc.

How It Works:
Users can share these manipulations with friends or coworkers, or publish them for access by the entire world. The AlchemyPoint platform employs unique proxy mashup technology that allows new functionality to be easily and transparently embedded into any existing website, Intranet portal, or network application (Email, Instant Messaging, etc.).

Proxy mashup capabilities are combined with a robust application server and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) that enables an organization's technology infrastructure to be quickly integrated with Internet-based services and other data sources. This system fosters the rapid creation of content-intensive services, enterprise applications, and large-scale systems.

The AlchemyPoint Browser Toolbar exposes "structured web" / mashup capability to the end-user via an easy-to-use graphical interface. Offering total web browser integration, the AlchemyPoint Toolbar enables users to visually mash up Internet/Intranet content, customize the look & feel of websites, and create personalized services such as Instant Messenger bots or e-mail auto-responders.

Recent Updates:
They have just launched a new clipping tool that lets you widgetize your content. To create your own, type in the web address of a site you’d like to grab content from. The site will display in an iFrame, enabling you to select the portion of the page you’d like to share. Indicate the size of your widget, and give it a name, and the embed code is provided for you.
