Test Preparion Get Smarter--Socrato

What Company Is Offering:
Socrato is a place to make your learning effort easier and more productive. They will show you how you should be spending your precious study time based on your goals.
The word Socrato is a play on the name of the ancient Greek philospher Socrates - the creator of the Socratic teaching method and a teacher of another great philosopher, Plato. Socrato is a website for making learning fun and more productive. Whether you’re a student, a teacher or a tutor, use Socrato to test yourself or create tests for others. Then use Socrato’s features to help you understand your strengths, drill down on areas where you want more practice, and figure out what to do next to learn more.

How It Works:
You can start with a selection from their Test Library, or create your own tests.Socrato keeps track of your performance history and work notes. Tailor material based on your results, so you can focus on the areas that need improvement.
Practice tests and get instant feedback. Set performance goals and track your progress over time. Get insight into your learning trends, your strengths and areas for improvement. Personalized reports help you work on your trouble areas and improve. Create custom practice Tests based on your history and specific needs. Learn better, faster and measure your progress.

In “Practice Mode” you can answer all the questions, skip around, go backwards and forwards in the test, all without a time limit. You can also opt to view a timer while you’re practicing. To select this option, click on the checkbox next to “Click to show timer.”

In “Review Mode” you are only able to read the questions (and answers if you choose to check this option). You are not able to answer the questions. This mode is meant for people who want to skim through the questions on the test without actually testing themselves. This is useful for people who want to see what is covered on a particular test in order to study or prepare for the test.

How Is It Different:

Other learning tools replicate pencil and paper learning processes. Socrato brings the power of computing and data analysis to your studies. They constantly analyze your learning patterns, quantify your strengths and weaknesses and allow you to customize your practice session based on your goals.
