MYBYTES--------Music Mixer

What Company Is Offering:
Go to the Music Mixer and create original songs using their library of loops and sound effects. You can layer tracks, adjust volume and panning, and even download the songs you made as MP3 files. You can find instructions for using the mixer on the mixer page. When you're finished creating your track, you can either save it to work on later, or set rights and publish it for use in the MyBytes community.

How It Works:
Your personal profile page is where you'll view your work, your downloads, and see if other users are downloading your songs. Your profile page is also where you set "Your Rules," a series of statements regarding intellectual property rights that apply to the tracks you create. You can change your user avatar, your password, or your rules at any time.
When you create a song, you can decide whether you want to save or publish your track. If you choose to save, the song will be published to your profile page, where you can work on it later. It will not be made accessible to the MyBytes community. However, if you choose to publish your song, you are putting it into the mix of user-created songs for other users to listen to, remix, or download. You set property rights for each song you create, and you can charge other users credits to remix or download your songs. All users have the choice to either pay or not pay credits for songs they take, just like in real life. You'll get to see if other users like your tracks, and if they're giving you credit for using your creation.
In order to participate in the MyBytes community, you need to register and create your profile. Select a user name (for security reasons, please do not use your real name), choose an avatar, set your security question, and you're ready to go! You can then use the mixer, download your own or other user-created tracks, and vote in the polls.
