Hip-hop .net-----that enables and encourages individual creative expression; to build a diverse community of dedicated Hip-hop heads

What Company Says:

To promote the growth and development of an online portal to worldwide Hip-hop culture that enables and encourages individual creative expression; to build a diverse community of dedicated Hip-hop heads who continually refine their common aesthetic of Hip-hop as art via instant feedback from a userbase of thousands.

Who Is Backing Them:
Hip-hop.net is a team of Hip-hop fanatics spread around the globe. Brian, aka Theory (Seattle, USA), began work on the original site back in 1998 and continues to determine overall direction. Norm aka Compay (Buenos Aires, Argentina) does all the programming and maintains the servers. Matt aka Kempo (Hampshire, UK) writes our album reviews and is our UK correspondent. Dave aka Darnit (Seattle, WA) does our design and layout work.

Their original B-boys.com logo was created in photoshop by hand by their good friend Iosefatu Sua, aka Sion1 who also has designed most of their tshirts.

Their Hip-hop.net logo was designed by FourColorCreative in Seattle using Cooper Black, an original Hip-hop flyer font from the late 70's - early 80's.

Many ideas for this site over the years have come from the members of our forums. There would be no b-boys.com/hip-hop.net without Benjamin Grimm, FroshKiller, Loot, Monk, Richard Corey, and too many others to name here.
