ProQuo’s is to help consumers control their personal information

What Company Is Offering:
ProQuo’s is to help consumers control their personal information. ProQuo helps consumers remove their personal information from marketing lists, data brokers, and other organizations responsible for a large amount of junk mail. ProQuo does this by helping people request removal directly from these sources. In many cases, ProQuo will send these requests electronically to the specific organizations that consumers select. For companies that don’t accept electronic requests, ProQuo helps consumers to print out forms for mailing or directs consumers to third party web sites.

How It Works:

After creating your ProQuo account, you will have your own electronic “dashboard.” Here you can request removal of your personal information from thousands of lists and organizations that have your information on file. Depending on the lists you choose, they will either electronically transmit your requests on your behalf or guide you through the removal process.

Recent Updates:
ProQuo late last year has raised $5 million in funding, this service deals with physical mail–not email spam. Things look to be going very well with ProQuo, as Draper Fisher Jurvestson has decided to participate in a Series B round of funding, which was led by Mission Ventures, totaling $8 million.
