Buzzd, a location-based mobile startup has raised around $3 million in Series A funding

Buzzd is based in New York City and backed by Monitor Ventures and Greycroft Partners.

Buzzd, a location-based mobile startup headquartered in New York, has raised around $3 million in Series A funding (including convertible securities), according to a regulatory filing. It had previously disclosed the round, but not the dollar amount. Backers include Greycroft Partners and Monitor Venture Partners.
