Increo Solutions, a Palo Alto, CA-based company thatproduces software to support teams throughout the innovation process, announces the closing of a seed round of financing from Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ). DFJ is a toptier venture capital firm with investments worldwide.
Increo also announces the launch of its first product, Backboard
(www.getbackboard.com), designed to ease the process of collecting feedback on documents and images. Targeted towards product managers, marketing teams, designers, and others who require an easy way to display and aggregate feedback, Backboard facilitates project interaction between co-workers, clients, and other contacts. Tim Draper, Founder and Managing Director of DFJ, joins Increo's Board of Directors.
"Increo is going to revolutionize the way that companies innovate," Draper said. Draper has led investments in industry-changing companies including Hotmail and Skype.
