GlassBOX Television Inc. announces $5 million of new venture and strategic investment, including backing from some of Canada's leading media executives. Additionally, GlassBOX founder, President and CEO Jeffrey Elliott announces the appointment of leading digital media entrepreneur Raja Khanna as Co-CEO and investor in the Company. GlassBOX creates and operates innovative broadcast and VOD channels across television and digital media platforms that speak to today's consumer.

The new investment, led by Toronto venture capital firm JLA Ventures, includes investments from several respected media industry veterans including former Executive Managing Director of International Television Distribution of Alliance Atlantis Communications Ted Riley, former President and CEO of Standard Broadcasting Gary Slaight, former President and CEO of CHUM Limited Jay Switzer and former President and COO of XM Radio Canada Stephen Tapp. Tapp, who also headed CHUM Television, will serve as an advisor on the Company's overall strategy including international sales and licensing. Innovative television and feature film financing company Aver Media and leading live action production company Frantic Films Corporation are also key strategic investors and advisors.
