A mentor is someone who has learnt a thing or two and wants to help others. If you are willing to share this learning in a thoughtful and sensitive manner to help someone through a time of transition, they welcome you as a horsesmouth mentor.

As a member, horsesmouth gives you direct access to people from all walks of life, all of whom are here to help you. As a mentor, horsesmouth provides you with an easy, safe and meaningful way to give something back and to put your life lessons to good use. Remember, someone needs what you know and someone knows what you need.

But none of this information is visible to other users on the site, and none of it will be passed on to others. If you're signing up to mentor other people, you need to give quite in-depth information about your life experiences.
