RateMyProfessors.com is the Internet's largest listing of collegiate professor ratings

What Company Is Offering:
RateMyProfessors.com is the Internet's largest listing of collegiate professor ratings, with more than 6.8 million student-generated ratings of over 1 million professors. Each year, millions of college students use the site to help plan their class schedules and rate current and past professors on attributes such as helpfulness and clarity. RateMyProfessors.com currently offers ratings on college and university professors from over 6,000 schools across the United States, Canada, England, Scotland and Wales with thousands of new ratings added each day.

How It Works:

You can select your school by picking your state or province from the drop-down list on the front page. You'll then see a list of schools; just click on your school's name to bring up the list of professors in that school. If your professor is listed on your school's page, click on the name and rate them. If your professor is not listed, there is a link to where you can add and rate them.

The purpose of the site is to be a resource for students. Where else can you find out what others think of an instructor? When you have the option of choosing a teacher, wouldn't you really like some information? It also gives you, the user, a place to voice your opinion. It gives you a place to make a difference in your education.
